Stubbsy & Radar in the Dead of NightNearing the end of the evening I recently shared with Stubbsy & Radar on the shores of Lake Macquarie, Newcastle, I was packing up when I thought I would try a fun shot just for the hell of it. Using the Nightshot setting on my camera, I managed to record this when I could hardly see anything by eye. It ain't art, but it sure looks spooky. Product of military techo seeping out into the arena.
Radar had a really handy little LED lamp clamped to his head to see what he was doing to his camera. Good idea there. Whatcha think? Photography. The Art of Seeing, Not Just Looking

Colin,
it's almost like looking through night-vision goggles I think I was fitting my ND4 filter on Peter's camera at that point. I wasn't quite sure how to handle a D2X with a 28-70 sitting on a gitzo I decided to just do it carefully. That's why I was so still!! Glad to see you got home safely. cheers, André Photography, as a powerful medium of expression and communications, offers an infinite variety of perception, interpretation and execution. Ansel Adams

Rested! Who the hell is rested? I spent a week racing around the Hunter Valley at ridiculous hours madly bashing off 700 odd photo's (That is to say they were not odd photo's thank you) and now I have a business to catch up to. Thanks again to you and Andre for your company on the day. Col Photography. The Art of Seeing, Not Just Looking
