Too Long

Postby Yedrup on Tue Sep 12, 2006 8:53 am

Hi folks,

Finally back on line. Been away too long. First had to rebuild my home computer, which took a fair bit of fiddling... is is now singing along (as long as I don't turn it off). Stuffed if I know what I did but it is a bugger to start up again.
On top of this they have updated all our servers at work from NT to XP, those in the know would understand this has been the mother of all catastrophies.

Anyway it is great to finally be able to log on somewhere and can actually do it from both home and work now.

Cheers,
Terry

Weclome back Terry. Migrating NT to XP should have been reasonably smooth if your IT people were well researched and planned. Of course it makes sense they'd migrate to XP now it's been out for a gazillion years and is about to be replaced by MS with a new OS next year
