I'm putting in an order as soon as Poon has stock. Work partner was always crazy enough to buy Pentax gear and it seems it may finally be a good investment.

The features that impress me include the built in dust reduction, shake reduction, dust and weather seals, a dedicated RAW button! (but the in camera RAW development, really depends on how well you can see it on the LCD, it's 2.5" anyway, but perhaps everyone will leave it for the computer). So many features to list :) and the rest, seem quite common to DSLR, just renamed.

Indeed - the more competition the better for EVERYONE.

I like the new pancake 70mm too.

22bit ADC, wow that sounds good....would it result in larger RAW files?
It should really result in better dynamic range compared to conventional 12bit.

True Kipper - this is perhaps the most interesting of any of the functions. Even the Phase one backs stop at 16 bit - but this cam may just convert from 22 to 12bit. Time will tell, but the colour from the 16 bit backs is just beautiful. One of the reasons to consider M.F.D.
