QR plate

My benro just arrived :twisted:

Quick questions,
- Do you leave the QR plate permanently on your camera ?

- Any way to minimize the scratches on the bits where the QR plate attach to the ballhead ? It's truly painful to see my new toy developing scratches so quickly :oops:

- Has anyone with a benro tried this "factory-reccomended-test" ?Image I'm so tempted to try it :twisted: [/img][/url]

No, but I have a RRS L-Plate that is left permanently on the camera :) The Benro QR plate is a little.. uh... pointy in certain areas.
