Interesting - the D80 appears to be as good as the D200 8)

Yup basic same sensor and noise control algorithms.

Good news for future D80 users... !, considering upgrading your D70 chris?
Nikon D300, Nikkors 70-200 VR, 17-55, 50 1.4,18-200 VR etc
