More nikon pro market share?

Postby MHD on Fri Sep 29, 2006 1:15 pm

Ok this is a totally unqualified and purely an observation, but it seems, on TV that more and more scrum photographers are sporting d2x (s) these days... I was looking at the AWB footage last night and the guys that were going hard were shooting d2x and some sort of wide lens from the hip...

interesting style...

If that helps Nikon getting plenty more income from selling thse D2x(s), and getting more budget in the R&D or even lowering prices for the lower end consumer/semi-pro products. Then, why not?

I had to do a double take, Scott... I'm glad there was an 'r' in "scrum photographers".

However, I'm sure it's a fallacy. Just like the one of white lenses = Xerox competitor; and the observation that every white lenses spotted at a sporting event equals a Xerox competitor's lens.
