The next week to ten days is critical. Although the Hamster has walked and talked he is still not out of danger. I truly hope that he pulls through - The show needs him. . .

I was quite shocked when I heard he was in an accident, and really hopes he recovers fully.

The show is so well shot, it's almost like a moving photography show at times. If you know what I mean.

Couldn't agree more, although I think sometimes they overuse the filters.

The latest series of the show has been delayed in being aired as they want Richard Hammond to host the show. There has also been quite a lot of calls for the show to be axed due to the stunts and the content of the show promoting irresponsible driving.

The accident is also being investigated by the Office of Health and Safety not only because it was an accident at work, but I think also due to the fact that James May was suppose to be driving the car but Hammond was a late replacement and only had a few hours of training in the car. I think a lot of people are also wondering why a presenter is driving a jet car when there mostly driven by current or ex-fighter pilots/instructors.

Also gathered from reading the local newspapers over here is that quite a few film crew have quit due to the lax safety standards on the sets.

Nice to see the Yorkshire Air Ambulance has received a few bob from fans, like our own Air Ambulance Service they're indispensible but always struggling with their budgets. :(

While almost a week old, Jeremy Clarkson's article in The Sun really is worth the read, should you get the chance :)
