Sticky zoom ring, possible to lubricate?

Hi all :D

I have a 24-120vr, it's been pretty reliable thus far.

Though i'm finding the zooming action is becoming a little sticky.


Is there any way I might be able to adress this myself? or is it best to take it to a service agent, or can this not be fixed at all?
