"Card not initialized"

Got this error message today on the Fuji S2 at work "Card not initialized".
Thought I'd post the remedy incase anyone else ever has this problem.

As the camera would not go past the error screen, I could not do a card format. After doing a goolge search the remedy seems to be alternately pushing the play and menu buttons a few times, after about 3 or so pushes the format menu came up. Card has been ok since.

I've never had this problem on my D70.
