Well about 2 weeks ago I get this email from someone I haven’t seen for about 6-7 years apart from passing in the street.
It was BBJ asking how I was going and how my photography was going etc and ended with him saying don’t be a stranger and that he still lives in the same place.
So the following week I grabbed my camera and went around for a visit. While I was there, he introduced me to this forum. Ive been poking about here for about a week so I thought its about time to introduce myself and say Hi.

I’m Biggzie, from Mt Gambier, SA

I bought my first SLR abit over 20 years ago, a Pentax P30n. (I was going to get a Nikon, but I figured I could hook my Dads lenses if I got the Pentax :D )
After a number of years, things change and my gear ended up sitting in the cupboard for about 10 years. Now I have got my hands on a Pentax ist-ds its all come out again :D
My interests are mainly nature photography with a bit of sports thrown in. I like to do a bit of macro work as well, but my bellows aren’t seeing much use lately.

Im enjoying going through the forum and Ive seen some fantastic photos. I guess they will give me something to aim for.
You guys look like you’ve built up a nice little community here.
