Shooting in RAW

Hi folks,
Just a quick and simple question to clear my own mind.
When shooting in RAW format does that negate or neutralise all other settings in the camera, with the exception perhaps of aperture and shutter speed.

Nigel,
Not exactly.
The settings you have set are applied to the image as it is stored at the time of making the exposure, and some, like aperture and shutter speed, can't be undone.
But many others are stored as some form of "flag" with the image, and the value of that flag (wb, sharpening level, curve, etc) can be changed from within NCE.
So while they're not actually negated, they might be considered to be negatable.
