Most may recall all my corporate head shots I'd been doing, well the
AIMA Australia website is finally live and my photos up there, the customer is happy (but hasn't paid me yet) but I think for most I could of done a lot better, that said keeping the customer happy is the name of the game, not my quest for a better shot. If anyone is interested the link the the shots is here.

Hey they are all good. Did you photoshop the black background?

The background is a black sheet $40 from Spotlight, so I didn't have to shove them in the air conditioning closet.
I've just asked about payment and they said, send them the bill. (So now I have to name the price).
I was thinking 7 people at about 30 minutes each is 3.5 hrs + 30 minutes of PP and getting them to sign of on the selected shot = 4 hrs work.
Of the top of my head I thought $150 an hour, but I don't know I'm just making this stuff up ?

Try for $170/hr Craig and if they don't blink at it, good. If they query it, then say the lowest u can go is $150/hr. Nice work buddy.
PS - Hi Kim Ivey - hope u like dslrusers

Nice shots - the client should be happy (and happy to pay)
Not surprised to see Damien Hatfield still pushing hedge funds, one of the fastest ways to transfer wealth from investors to fund managers! (I have nothing against Damien - only met him a couple of times quite a few years ago, but I have a big issue with the hedge fund industry, although that's just a little off topic
)

I think Geoff's right, $170 an hour seems right to me, see how it goes.

Awesome Craig, well done.
I agree, go for the higher price then work down. Like that then they will think that they are getting a bargain.
and you're happy cos you get your price.
Regards,
Bill

Nice shots. What did you use for lighting?
$170/hr sounds very respectable and right in the right range. I've been charging $150/hr but think I'll adjust to 170 so I can be "nice" and be bargained down to 150.
