Wanted - a few odd-ball items... On the scrounge.

Gidday.

I am looking to buy a replacement Nikon HB-35 lens hood (for the 18-200 VR). Does anyone know where I can get one at a reasonable price?

Do I need to go into a local camera shop and just pay whatever markup they feel like putting on, or is there a better way of obtaining one of these?

Also, my friend lost the little screw cap that covers the remote control 10 pin plug on his D200 so while I am getting things, I may as well get him one of these... Any help appreciated.

While I'm posting, does anyone have a busted cable remote control they don't want - I am looking for a cable that plugs in to the 10 pin connecter, (d200) - only needs to be 20 cm long or so - will be making a wireless remote for the D200 that mounts on the flash hot shoe, but need a cable to make it work & don't want to buy a real one just to trash on an experiment.
Anyone got a junk draw to go through?
If I make it work, I will post cct diagrams but I need the cable first.

Come to think of it, a busted flash base so I can use the bottom half of its guts to house the thing on a hot shoe would also be handy...
