For my birthday...from Pat...
Yep, a wide angle! (He knows me well )
Not the greatest shot, I just really wanted to share the news of my new toy with everyone because I'm a very happy camper!
Can't wait to try it out properly this weekend, and to start posting again, now that I've finished uni for the year.
Cheers,
Cheers,

That's a particularly nice image you've snagged with your new lens! It has a lovely sense of depth to it and the composition is wonderful.

Nice one, Kris
I smell either a Tokina or a Sigma 10-20 in that shot.

Thanks everyone!
Yep, it's the Tokina 12-24mm. Apparently it's getting quite hard to find them at the moment.
And from first impressions I am very happy with it; it's solid as a rock and just feels great.
Cheers!

Happy birthday (again!) Kris and congratulations on your new lens. You've put it to fantastic use already and I'm sure we're going to see some stunning images (like this one) popping up regularly.

Happy Birthday Macka! Congrats!
Nice new lens, I've been lusting this one for some time now.
Where was this pic taken?
Look forward to seeing many more images from you with your new 'baby'.

Thanks guys.
Geoff, this pic was taken near the pool just around to the north from Maroubra Beach. One of my local haunts.

Happy birthday Kris and congratulations on the wide angle. I have recently joined the WA club too and it really is great fun.
