Hi, how do i find out how many shutter actuations my D70 had done?

Download this program Opanda Exif Viewer.
http://www.opanda.com/en/iexif/index.html

And view the most recent jpeg you've taken, using the viewers advance mode, it will show how many shutter actuations you've clocked up.

excellent program- a must have for all!
wished the firefox plugin was compatible with ff2 though...

but yes, scroll to the bottom of the advanced info and it should be there.

thanks for that, mines at just over 11k now :D on its second shutter to already replaced one under warranty.

Is that it, on the bottom right had corner of the page under thumbnail, with the askterisk in front of it? what an awsome program.

Could be, mine is one of the entries in a table corresponding to the row "Total Number of Shutter Releases for Camera " =)

yraen69, your shutter didnt last too long..
mine's still quite happy but i can hear signs of age.

scroll right to the bottom of the information and it should be there :) no need for advanced mode either.

which version are you using, socialclimber?
