What is this about?

Postby Matt. K on Sat Jan 29, 2005 11:24 pm

Someone has put a notice in todays SMH, (Page 36), offering $1000 reward for the person who finds a lost Canon Powershot S400 with the memory stick intact. The camera was left in a Cab at the Rocks and besides the reward the finder may keep the camera.

So guys.....anyone want to take a guess at what kind of images might have that much value to the owner?
Regards

In which case 1k isn't nearly enough to make it worthwhile. If they are hers, they could get several times 1k!

Which gets me thinking that a Compact Flash card or similar which could be password protected might be a useful thing.

Matt K, my wife just wants her images back

Greg B, Lexar beat you to it, they have one out which is password protected and another which automatically adds the photographers details. Interestingly the password one only works with .... the D2X, so Birddy will probably be the only one buying that CF 8)
