Need another week's holiday to read all the posts

Postby bago100 on Sun Jan 30, 2005 3:22 pm

I have been away a week beginning at 0700 last Monday morning. Arrive home and find a staggering 2155 unread posts!

At work tomorrow, I'll have to apply for another weeks' holiday to read all the unread posts. :D

That's over 300 new posts each day! Unbelievable!

Oh well, off to read unread post number 1, then number 2 then number 3 and so on - oops lawn has to be mowed soon. Darn!

Cheers

Bago,

I was away for 4 x weeks, when I surfed in found a revamped website!, thought for awhile that maybe there had been a take over!

And I must say, at first I was a bit confused by the new look & feel, but now after using again feel its a definate improvement!!!

A very big WELLDONE! ......... to the Forum Fairies (metaphorically speaking) who maintain the site.

.....work is the best place to catch up on missed posts, makes the day go

Hi Bago

I have to agree. This forum is growing at such a rate it is hard to keep up. I noticed a post elsewhere about the same issue. I find I have to skim now, whereas I used to read every post. I saw a reply from Birddog that he was up at 4.30am every morning, hopefully making money and not just to read the forum. I tend to look for members that I know from early days and then look at headings as a second line of enquiry, which means I miss some of the comments made. Broadband at work makes it much easier to do this. It is a measure of the groups success. You can almost predict the organisational structure that will emerge as we become differentiated and specialise in aspects of the D70.
In the end we know Nothing, but in the meantime Learn like crazy.

I've been off-line for the past 2 months (moving house) and only just got hooked up again with broadband. So why not view all the posts I've missed :D I can't believe there are so many - how do you all keep up.
