Some Advice PleaseI want to sell my Wedding Photography NAME / BUSINESS NAME & DOMAIN NAMES ?
BUSINESS NAME : BlushingBride Wedding Photography DOMAIN NAMES : http://www.blushingbride.com.au & http://www.blushingbride.net.au I haven't got them a Website as it is attached to my differentimages website http://www.differentimages.net ( I just own the Domains ) No equipment sold with business just great names ( I feel ) and a lot of potential to an up and coming want to be Wedding Photographer ( or an established Wedding Photographer who wants a catchy name ) I have 1 Wedding under my belt but haven't got the ticker for another, with too many commitments I have to let it all go. Where do I start ? Thanks, Mic
are you just looking to recover your costs, or sell a "business model"?
You may be able to get your $300 back for the domain name, but if you want to make some significant coin, you might think about selling it as a website solution. I think as just the domain, you could get $300-500 AUD. Wrap a gallery toolset, and maybe an equiries for etc, and add a zero to those numbers (of course the margin depends if you are adding the site and tools, or paying a web techie to build it...). just my first thoughts...
Thanks Oz for your reply & advice,
I could really do with some others advice seeing there has been 54 views and only 1 reply Cheers, Mic
Mic...... you might try to sell the names on e bay, other photo forums maybe...... or is there a domain name site ?.......
Cheers ....bp....

It's actually not legal to sell a .com.au or .net.au domain name; look at the AuDA website for details of that.
I think the only avenue is to try to sell it as a business concept, with the business and domain names all going together under the one umbrella. HTH, mic. g.

Re: Some Advice Please
To paraphrase "The Castle"....you must be dreaming No one in their right mind is going part with cash for a business name with no business behind it The "BlushingBride" name maybe cutesy to some but would put off most women I know...OK I only know cynical mothers (and their equally cynical, and fairly worldly, daughters). Couples are getting older before they get married (and have often been in previous relatively serious relationships) and the "Blushing Bride" concept just seems a bit anachronistic these days. I don't want to seem too harsh but I don't think the name has much intrinsic value. On the other hand...at the end of the day...I'm usually wrong.
Cheers Stubbsy
Thanks Shakey for you view, I was only trying to get some advice and thats yours. All idea's can be considered. Thanks, Mic
