I have to say that I am interested in both the Ricoh GX100 and the Sigma DP-1. Both cameras offer a wide angle lens that is hard to find in most compact cameras, particularly those made by Nikon. The Ricoh GX8 was actually a good camera and very sharp at the low ISO's and so I am hoping to see good things form the GX100. A 24mm equivalent lens will make it a great travel camera.
What I would really like to see Ricoh do is take the lead from Sigma and incorporate an APS sensor into their cameras, in particular any future replacement for the Ricoh GRD. I think it makes sense to use and benefit from a larger sensor rather than trying hard to salvage images from those tiny sensors that are being used in compact cameras at the moment... merely for economic reasons. Good photographers will pay to use good equipment.... lets get on to it!
Thats my rant for the evening.... sorry about that folks!
