Was going through some PMA videos and came into this:

Printing on chocolate using 'food colouring' as ink??

I'm not sure if I will be to eat one of these, but it does seem very innovative.

This would be good for the tops of birthday cakes and suchlike. I wonder how expensive/affordable it is though.

There are a few Australian companies offering photos on chocolate, although I'm not sure if they use the same process. I've seen them at one of the Home Shows in Melbourne and IIRC at the Royal Melbourne Show. Pricing seemed to be reasonable for promo/gift purposes.

Maybe we could organise a chocolate photo exhibition! Might be a problem with pilfering and vandalism, though...and you'd want an air-conditioned venue to avoid unwanted "liquefy" post-processing...

i love the way the guy insists its not an inkjet, like its some new technology that builds up colour on a surface by a print head that moves back and forth and doesn't touch the object.
hello.. call it whatever, its still an inkjet

No, it's a food-dye-jet!
