I just sold my Sigma 70-200mm EX DG MACRO and dropped it off at the buyers place. Before I left I said to him "Thats a good lens, you take care of it" When I left, I kinda feel empty even sad :(
Granted its not a Canon or Nikon glass it was my first quality telephoto lens and man, even though I had it just over a month, I took some sweet photos with that baby.

It will be missed!

And it doesn't make any sense at all, I know, but that's why I can't make myself throw out my old worn worked-to-the-death Nikon FG. I don't know what to do with it - it's not the most attractive paperweight! - but I can't make myself just chuck it out after all its years of good service ...

Keep it and run some film through it every now and then. I just bought an FE with a 35 mm 2.8 - it is almost small enough to fit in my pocket! You don't have the MD12 grip for the FG do you? (Not sure if that is the one for the FG).

I do...and I might be convinced to part with it...i havent seen the MD for a while but i certainly have it. My FG is sitting here unused (brilliant camera) many good shots taken with it and the 50mm 1.8. Was thinking of putting it on ebay to fund the purchase of my 50mm 1.8D but if there is interest I would sell it cheaper here.

Unfortunately, when I say "worked-to-the-death", that's exactly what I mean. It's really dead and gone and I can't put any film through it. If I could still use it, I would because it's a great little camera, but it gave up the ghost and is probably sitting up there in Nikon Heaven looking down and laughing at my attempts to master Digital!
