CIA spook plane

Postby Matt. K on Fri Apr 27, 2007 7:49 pm

I photographed this aircraft at Sydney airport recently and a Google on the registration indicates it has had an interesting life. Seems it was known as the Guantanamo express and used to ferry terror suspects around the world. It seems that after changing hands a number of times through some shadowy companies it is now leased or used by Star Casino. One wonders. John Howards plane was also at the airport at the same time (airforce one)...not that I think there is any connection. It's often at the airport.

Bugger me!

I know you didn't post the image for C&C, but it's interesting when, like you said, you consider it's history.... :?

Scary stuff. It appears so innocuous but is used for such villainous purposes.
So join in the chorus, and sing it one and all!

That’s pure luxury compared to the buckets I travelled in when involved with certain organisations

Sheer luxury it is - and for a mere US$33,000,000 it could be yours!!! I wonder if they'll detail the interior for you for that?

I had no idea that you could search the tail number of a plane and get all these details. Pretty interesting stuff..

Cheers, Nathan.
