I'm moving to Newcastle in under two weeks, the item/s of greatest value by far will be my D70 stuff.
So I'm going to need insurance to at least cover it while it's at home.
A few questions for those who have insurance that covers their cameras:
How much?
Who with?
Can the camera be insured for when it's out of house?
Etc.
Any help is appreciated.

We have had a few threads about this topic recently.
Get a Home contents policy with your insurer and they'll cover the d70 for you.

Hi,
I've got insurances with AAMI and $3000 specified personal valuables
insurance is for me a bit less than $100.
My understanding is that this is an idiot's insurance.
If I drop the camera in the lake, I get replacement with a $100 excess fee.
Cheers

Remember, it's on top of your Home content policy premium!

Hmm, I see. So basic premium + $50 to $100 (or more).
Is there anyone that offers it without a basic Home and Contents necessary?

according to AAMI when you use the camera for business you need a different type of insurance. AAMI doesn't cover that.
Business is when you sell a photo taken by the D70.
Does anybody have more info on business use and insurance ?
Thanks a lot
