Yes, totally agreed, end of Feb is ETA. I'll try to be the first one among few other to try this new toy. Maxwell delivery will be mid March and their price is around 8K

It's closed to the D2h in retail here, Maxwell stock, AU$4795.00, so why should we bother buying a D2h

Birddy, just saw a new D2H from a Perth store on Ebay go for $3300, makes the D2X look an absolute snip. Anyone want to buy a D70 for $2k?

I only want one and I'll have all in my collection of Nikon Dslr
D70/D100/D2h/D2x,
The missing parts are D1/ D1h/ D1x, I can source them very cheap in the US or HKG but will be later then I'll complete of the Nikon DSLR era in my collection, with other flight helmets and aviation stuff.

And just think how you will be able to put that double exposure feature to use for those weddings. All those 70's special effects like the faces on the certificate and the bride and groom in the champagne glass will make a comeback.

Max ISO=800
No builtin flash

hmmm... wonder how the offboard ITTL works

MHD, the pro bodies rarely have an inbuilt flash and the range is 100-800 versus 200-1600 on the D70. Probably not an issue for most, I have never taken a shot over 640

I'm with you Birddog, that was on a dark night in Thailand, not much noise just crummy shots due to camera shake. I didn't know when flash time is.
