A little side note as this is the aluminium alloy version and not the CF version of the tripod. It weights 2.2kg by itself...

Hi Yi-p

The carbon fibre version is only about 300g lighter (main bulk of the weight comes from the magnesium tripod centrepiece), at around 2-3 times the cost, it makes the alloy version a bargain . :wink:
