When I do my tax, my refund will be used to partially offset my interest expense which lead to my nice refund (all part of reducing the after tax return required on my investments
)

Tax refunds.... ARGH.
After doing everyone elses.... for a living, I can't bring myself to do my own. Even though it should give me more funds to pursue some DSLR gear.....

I'm self employed and my accountant works out my tax during the year and is so close I end up owing or receiving next to nothing. My g/f won't let me spend her tax refund

Big Mouth.... That means you have a good accountant. But if you tell him/her that you want a tax refund, I'm sure they will adjust the tax instalments to accommodate you
