Grey Card Help

I’m just about to have in my hands the Sekonic 758D lightmeter. To profile my camera there is available a profile card that costs $99US, and in Australia, would appear to be as rare as hens’ teeth 8)

My question to the learned members is this - is there a grey card available in Oz that has the following:

white - reflectance 90.7
black - reflectance 3.6

then patches with the following reflectance: 25.5, 22.7, 20.2, 18 (mid grey), 16, 14.3 and finally 12.7.

Thanks for any help on this one

Mi-Lord, can it be somehow imitated in photoshop or similar graphics design applications where one may select the precise tone/luminosity desired?

To profile the camera I need to photograph the profiling card under different lighting conditions.

This will enable my sensor to be ”seen” for dynamic range and clipping + midrange :)

If you don't find one locally Chris, you know I'm heading off to NYC with my homosexual partner later this month, and I'll be glad to source one for you if you wish to use my services.

Thanks for the offer and if nothing comes of my local inquiries I would love to prevail on your offer - I know that B&H stock them for approx $100US.

Have a gay day

I have heard briefly of 'Perfect-Pixs' - I too want to know how my camera see's colours + tonal range.

Vanbar sell them in Australia.

They are alot cheaper than the Gretag Macbeth colour charts!

Google for some reviews and see if it is any good.

Cheers!

I’ve ordered the whole kit from Vanbar - not in stock yet as it’s so new :)
