Photographic Workshops in Sydney area

Hi all,
This is my post, so hello... I am looking for some advice or recommendations for a photographic workshop in the sydney area (maybe blue mountains or similar). I am wanting to give my husband this as a gift (he's more of a photographer than I am).
He likes getting out in the bush so I guess a landscape workshop would be the way to go, he shoots digital and I would probably classify him as an intermediate shooter. I was thinking a weekend (or 3 day) workshop would be good, rather than just a 1 day one.
I have done the google search and came across Tom Putt workshops (http://www.tomputt.com/index.php) and Sydney Photographic workshops(http://www.sydneyphotoworkshops.com.au/). Has anyone been on one of these before?
The Tom Putt one looks good but is also rather pricey Are they worth it?
Are there any other companies that I have not found that you would recommend?
Look forward to your replies, I really would appreciate it.
