Show DNG thumbnails in WindowsIt's been bugging me for some time that DNG thumbnails don't show in Windows Explorer thumbnail view or (more importantly) in File Open dialogs in programs like Photoshop. I also seem to recall someone previously asked here about this but couldn't find the thread. I already had the Microsoft Raw image Thumbnailer and Viewer installed and Nikon NEFs showed fine. Eventually I found a tip that you could edit the registry to fix things and it worked. You can do it quite easily. Just copy the text below to the clipboard, paste into notepad and save it as dng fix.reg. Once that's done, double click the file you've saved and say YES when asked if it's OK to alter the registry. That's it. Hope it helps you too.
