Howdy folks,

Not sure if I've mentioned it here before but the Channel 7 program "The Great South East" filmed a segment on "Trekabout Photography Workshops". The Great South East segment is going to air this coming Sunday the 23rd September on Channel 7 at 5:30pm..

A special thank-you to those of you who were able to come along on very short notice and help out on the day of filming.

Congrats Mark, hope the program airs well. Might be worth noting that your times are for I assume Brisbane, down in Sydney we have to make do with watching Border Patrol NZ. I would prefer to watch your program than one where everyone who doesn't look like a white kiwi gets hassled. I cant find your program here, maybe they production company knows when it is on?

Mark, can't find The Great South East listed anywhere in Sydney guides, maybe Sydney is the Great South East?

Mark, just realised it is a QLd program, website says associated with Queensland Weekender

Bummer Mark, I would love to see this. I am sure there may be a downloadable version appearing somewhere, even if it is mininova.

Mark,

Great stuff, and I hope this provides a great boost to your business, and that you'll be run of your feet with new clients.

Glen,

Can you believe that all of those Kiwi shows that are being inflicted upoin us are classed as "Australian content"? Not o0nly are the shows crap, but the rules that permit this are even worse.

Gary,
Like you I think the rules are crap. Helps the kiwis, kills our already struggling industry. The shows are worse, I felt like ringing up the kiwi consulate after watching 15 mins recently to ask if all kiwis are racist (I know they are not). Really portrayed kiwis in a poor light. There is another one at about 11-12pm about kiwi security guards. From that I learnt all kiwis are pissed and looking for a fight.

Mark,
Can't wait for the link. Hope this boosts your business.

Well considering I cant get channel 7 here, I guess Im out of luck too

I might add here that we are the ones who has New Zealand in our constitution as if it is a State of Australia, not the other way round .... Work that 1 out?

Well done Mark. I hope it does transfer into more business for you. Getting air-time won't do any harm.

Hi all

The segment based around our photography workshops aired last Sunday afternoon at 5.30pm in Qld and the enquiries, bookings and website hits have really kicked in.

4 minutes of prime-time tv makes all the difference.

Gotta love it

Cheers

Thanks for the info. Don't usually watch the show, but this sounds interesting.

We get this on Seven Central in Regional NT Sunday afternoon.

Only Queensland shows it, unfortunately :(
