Canon photo5 competition

I just saw this discussed on MTAU and found it interesting enough to sign up.

The blurb from the site:
The first 2,500 photographers who register will receive a photo5 pack containing 5 objects. The challenge is to shoot these in the most original and creative way possible. Once you upload your entries, an expert judging panel will compile a shortlist before a final public vote decides the 5 overall winners.

I thought this might be of interest to some of our members... BTW you may have to sign up to MyCanon first before you can register for the competition (I did), here.

Cheers
Steffen.

I registered ages ago but I didn't even read that you get a 'pack' of any sorts. Trust me for not bothering to read things first

I applied on the 9th Oct, Still waiting for package.
I have no idea what it is about- I think you have to take some shots of any or all of the items and then submit,

Should be something different

Robert

Can't be all, only some. And I signed up last week. Still waiting. I've had a package a day come into work and each time I've been like "yes it's-- no it's not."

Hehe, I reckon that mystery package of five objects is a good way of enticing people to register...

Cheers
Steffen.

It's not a mystery as I read it. Without it in front of me it will contain a balloon, cellophane and whatever the others in the examples are. As I said, that is how I read it. Just waiting to see when it gets here.

I have a few ideas already if the objects are the same as the examples.
