well with all the hype on the new nikons i bit the bullet today and dropped my depoist on a d300 body. was talking to the guy in the shop and he pulled out some prints from their hands on with the two bodies, very very impressive! hopefully now they actually make it to Aust around the announced release date. as we all know what nikon and release dates are like :lol:
nikon d300, 10.5mm f2.8, 17-50mm f2.8, 50-150mm f2.8. Bronica sq-a 80mm f2.8,. sunpak 383's and a 622 for kicks, pw's, and other assorted bag fillers

Hi David. Good news on the deposit :) . What store are you buying from? I haven't put a depoeit down for one myself cause I'm not in any hurry, but definitely plan to purchase one! (have they given you a price approx. on the cam by any chance?)

im sourcing it through twin city cameras in the city, they gave me an approx price of just under 2900, but were hinting at it actually being cheaper seeing how strongly the Aus dollar is trading against the US at the moment
