I'm no expert but I would think that studio hire would automatically include the lighting equipment too..

the proposed size will roughly be 4m wde 7m deep with very high roof.parking ia avalable but it on the street it is in sutherland acroos the road from the train station.would be putting in a change room curtain, lighting is undecided yet but looking at 2 or 3 500watt flashes and some spot lights roof mounted, there is a female toilet inside the building and the gents are out behind the building.

Hey,

In my experience hiring studios lighting and back drops are all extra's. If you dont have your own lighting gear ánd need to hire it then if the studio offers it then great but being familar with your own equipment really helps.

Day rates (9hrs) on average in Melb on weekends are $500~$700 bare space only. I have seen of late a o offering $50.00 per hour but not sure how big and what that includes.
