I was wondering if there's a possibility of getting a 'Quick Reply' function implemented in this forum.

I'm talking about an area below a thread where its possible to enter a reply straight in and submit/preview.

I was only thinking the same thing yesterday. Many other forums have it. Unless your going to use emoticons or formatting, it's easier to do.

Bringing this thread back on topic (who? me?), I think that functionality exists in the new release of phpbb, which(last time I checked) had still not gone GA.

No it is RC7 at the moment Gary. Seems stable enough for a small site though.

And there is no inbuilt fast reply in it still...
