I think I've found the almost perfect free spatula.
Go to Gloria jean coffee, buy a cappuccino if you have to and get one of their plastic knives from their container right next to their plastic spoons.
The handle is almost perfect, all you need to do is file the end flat.

But Phillip that means I might be seen in one of those horrible coffee shop chains instead of a real coffee shop. My friends might never speak to me again

Gee, I never thought of that!
Get one on your next trip down to Sydney - assuming you don't have friends here.

Maybe then as a service to the D70user's club I'll get a bundle next time i'm there (I'm not proud) and drop them off at Birddog's

Gloria Jeans have nice coffee, certainly compared with Starthingies. I buy my beans from GJ and then take them home. Coffee always tastes better at home on the verandha overlooking the garden.

I think i might have tried every differenty type of coffee shop now right across the country, north south east and west. My favorite one was in Darwin, two streets west of the mall. There was another good one in Fremantle on the resturant strip that i have good memories of, and another on the esplanade in Cairns too. i havent found a good one in Sydney yet, which seems a bit stange as there are so many coffee shops here. Maybe it's because they charge too much. Bloody Sydney prices. Who would WANT to live here.

I don't like queuing up for coffee though.

OOps, i rambled on a bit too much, sorry.... I shall just go and put the percolator on now i think ;)
