Gents, I think it's a draw.
Lovely dogs indeed. And lovely shots to boot.

Is there such a thing as a puppy that doesn't look cute?
Great images, of some beautiful animals.
Cute kid photos do nothing at all for me, but gorgeous puppies like these ... I can coo for hours over.
Dave, you're bringing Brandy to the dinner tonight?
Bugger discussing camera gear: puppies are far more fun!

Great dog, but, in all honesty (as opposed to partial honesty), I actually prefer it's original name, although I am not sure what the "Zaanz" means, but naming it after a drug fuelled 60's band is pretty cool.

zaanz is the stud/breeder/kennel name - Zanzebern Bernese -

Standing at te back door yelling "Velvet Underground!" sounds a bit... er... "drug fuelled" to me

You could always yell "Lou".
With these breeds, I think you have to watch out for hip dysplacia (sp), but they are great dogs.

Yup - she will be on a joint supplement starting in a couple of weeks and will need to be checked regularly.

"Nico" might be a more appropriate name as she's female.

Or she could always borrow Chris's Zimmer.

Now, the best of Brandy, for me, is number 4 because of the colours and its serene and relaxed attitude; while the third image of Spryte is, I believe, the best of his pictures.
I'll bet you both will have your work cut out with the new family member.
