Anyone feel like lending me a 24-105 f4 L lens?

G'day All,

Firstly, I am well aware that this is a hard ask! :-)

I am flying over Antarctica on 31st December and purchased this lens to accompany me, however due to a few delays (and me not "biting the bullet" early enough) it hasn't arrived in time. Does anybody out there in Sydney feel like lending me theirs? I am quite happy to leave collateral and pay rental / hire fees. :)

Contrary to my profile, I am currently located in Engadine, Sydney. :D

Anyone? Anyone at all? :-)

Thanks all!

Tristan

(Edit: Gah - wrong date!)

24-70 hmm..... Not quite as "long" as I was hoping, but certainly a possibility... :-)

How long? I leave 3pm on the 31st, and return on 7:30am on 1st January. So about 3/4 of a day. :D The plane doesn't land, it is only a flight over the continent.

Would a 24-70 be a possibility?

Thanks!
Tristan

Wow, although I don't have the aforementioned lens, I do look forward to seeing some of your images when you get back. Have fun down there.
Steve.
