Struck by lightning on Bondi Beach / Wild weather

Hey Gary - did you get a pic?

Not laughing material, but would have been an amazing lightning pic!

The weather was pretty bad coming back from Newcastle - several occassions where it was really hard to see the road. This pic I think shows the conditions pretty accurately...

No.

It was far too hot for any sane person to be out earlier in the day, so I just cureld up in front of the large screen and started watching the final series of Frasier on DVD.

Then it started to get get somewhat dark somewhat early, and it looked far to wet for any sane person to be venturing outside. :)

As said earlier, BOM is not so accurate, my "own BOM" is corrected!
Morning, we have 7 members came for the mini-meet, by 11:00am. damm hot!!!, under my pergola, everyone was sweat and wet, we ducked inside with a/c and started a cooking class with huynhie was a master chef and Onyx was his assistant, by 12:00 we got the BBQ on and enjoyed huynhie skiils around 1:00.
Can't stand outside with the heat increased sharply and by 3:00pm, the last member left (Onyx) it's started pouring down and lightning etc...
I rather stay and play safe.

I love the wild weather. I really miss living in Darwin in the summer as these type of storms were a daily occurance. :) I don't miss the oppressive humidity though.

You might want to edit those links.

I highly doubt that a picture of a "Seagull Eye" and a kid are storm photos.

This was taken less than a minute before it all came down :D

Right on top on my house - no PP at all, tho Auto WB is probably to blame for the colour, it did look very green, perhaps not as much as it does in the pic tho :)
