ABC2

Postby Pehpsi on Sun Feb 03, 2008 8:22 pm

There's a show on ABC2 @ 8:30 called The Genius of Photography. Goes for 1hr. Might be worth a watch.

Cheers.

James.

It is a very good series, recommended. The third or fourth episode when
they make a giant pinhole camera out of a room is really something.

Pretty good I thought. Is there any more episodes?

James, It is a six part series produced by BBC4. And they get better as they go along (in my view anyway!)

There is a website

There was a doco on SBS (must have been between soccer match telecasts) on Saturday afternoon concerning photography. We only caught the last 15-20 mins or so, but it appeared to provide a great balance betwix photographer's and their styles together with a fair bit of gear lust (early 'blads, Rolleis, etc). It is often worthwhile checking the guide for SBS - Sat afternoons as they sometimes feature docos about photography.
