Did not really want to post this in the picture section as it is just an example of why I like this lens. No correction was applied, just sharpened.

I've got numerous "panos", shot with the 10.5. Just keep the horizon dead centre and you'll get away with it. I often cut a bit off the top and bottom, sometimes to hide fish-eye distortions in the foreground, sometimes to move the horizon to a more pleasing position.

This lens as far more versatile than many people might think. You just gotta experiment. I've made the last couple of DSLRUsers Harbours Walks (c) a single lens event for me. I've already decided that the next one will be a 10.5 event for me.

As you say it is easy to shoot panos with this lens. It is even more versatile when using DXO to "defish" as you like. I wish they could make it a zoom

Looks like an excellent prime. no light fall off like my crappy zooms.
