I've got an old bowens prolight 60, after an hour of use without modelling light, flash seem to stop working. The overheat lamp isn't flashing but works after i switch it off for about 30mintutes.
is it time to get it checked?

Well I don't really know anything about lights... but it sounds to me like it wouldn't hurt to get them checked out.. especially if this is a new thing..

It might be one of the capacitors inside is wearing out and/or contact is lose. So when it's hot it gives away and once its cool down, it comes back down a bit...

I'm not exactly sure if this is the case, but it happens with televisions and other older electrical appliances with big capacitors inside.
