Well just a heads up.

I signed up to http://www.kelbytraining.com/ last week and been watching a couple of the classes and all i can say, for $20 a month its amazing!

So much information on their, the videos are extremlly well done.

Anyone else using it? what do you think?

Also how does this compare ot the likes of lynda.com?

Peace

which classes did you watch?

so you download the files to watch later or do you have to watch em you tube style?

I have Scott's digital photography book which was really useful for my level of photography skills. I imagine that the videos would be even better.

I've seen a couple of episodes of lynda.com. I dunno whether it was the topic or the tutorial but i had troubles staying focussed. (it was on photoshop, which bores to tears). BTW is that $20 US a month?

I download the scott kelby "photoshopusertv" video podcast (via itunes) every week (one episode for free @ week) and the tips they give are quite amazing. Nothing beats someone showing you how to do it rather than reading about it in a book.

Ozi.

Yeah, I am interested in this as well, being a watcher of photoshop TV.

Do you download the material and can watch it later or do you have to stream it?

I went to a book sale and picked up the 7-point system for cs3 kelby book($2.50). You download images form him and work through examples with his images. Its quite amazing the results. It reinforces techniques an by the end Ishould have an understanding of whats required and how to achieve it.

But I feel $20 us a month is a little expensive considering the amount of stuff for free on the net.
