Did anyone catch the doco just finished on SBS? Robert Capa: The man who invented himself (looked like it was based on THIS book). Quite an interesting if not very glamorous biography (not many of his pics though since Magnum Images wouldn't agree to their use).

Yes, Peter, Chryssine and I watched and it seems the French company wouldn't pay Magnum for the use of the photos.
As you say, a gloomy view of his life, but I suspect that he was a troubled individual pursuing a negative outlook on life
