Possible Pinhole Experiment

Postby greencardigan on Wed Feb 27, 2008 10:20 am

The recent pinhole pics have got me thinking.

I currently use the pinhole in body cap technique but find I would like a bit wider FOV.

Getting a wider FOV is acheived by placing the pinhole closer to the sensor. I was thinking of modifying my current pinhole/bodycap so that the pinhole is set back from it's current position.

So, does anyone know how can I work out the current clearance between the swing path of the mirrors and the body cap? Just wondering how much closer I can get.
