Just got my D70 a month ago. Not only am I new to DLSR but also to the photography as I recently decided to take it up as my hobby.

Hi Alex, nice shots, liked them all, except the first parrot shot, probably should have been set to spot focus rather than "closest subject" as the leaves are more in focus than the parrot. Welcome, hope you enjoy your D70 and being here

Hi Alex - nice pics expecially the Gerbera that is in focus. Focussing is something that needs to be mastered with the D70 as it really only has one crossed AF sensor and that is in the middle - keep the pics coming

Thank you, all guys for your helpful replies. Yes, the parrot is out of focus now that you mentioned it. I was in a hurry to take the opportunity . I love the camera and there is so much to learn and read.

There is quite a bit of a learning crve with the D70 and the more you learn, the more you find there is something else to learn!
