Re: muslin 2.6m widemy paper backgrounds are 2.72m carboard rolls, you would need to saw off a few inches, but you are not usually photographing the edge.
, fabrics you could cut, or fold. are you sure its 2.6m?
Re: muslin 2.6m wideMost of the backdrop paper I know and see are 2.75m.

Re: muslin 2.6m wideWhat are some homemade options i could use to get 2.6m wide, also where could i buy a crossbar that is 3m wide?
Re: muslin 2.6m wide
if you are using fabric backgrounds, just bunch it at one side, no moditications required. if the paper roll you get is the normal 2.72 or 2.75 m, then cut 12-15cm off with a cutting tool (Knife, scissors, hand saw, power saw, butter knife, guts from a kit lens, teeth, claws, fangs, meat cleaver, jigsaw, bandsaw, coping saw, laser, water cutter, guilotine, prayer...)
manfrotto 314 kit, or ebay equivalent.
