Problems with site

Postby sirhc55 on Tue Apr 01, 2008 9:49 pm

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@dslrusers.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

This is happening quite often. I tried posting a new thread and got this (above).

I had these problems too. Between about 17:30 and 19:00 AEST if it helps track down the problem

My information is that someone else on our server at DH has been saturating the bandwidth, causing our communications with the SQL server to suffer. That's what brought us down yesterday morning.

I have a support issue logged for this.

Further to my earlier note, DH advise

We're terribly sorry about the problems you've experienced with your
site. Basically, we discovered a large scale attack on our servers,
related to a wordpress exploit. This exploit was being used by a large
network of spammers, causing the network links between your servers and
the outside world to become saturated.

We have fixed this issue, so service should be restored to normal. If
you're still seeing problems, please let us know directly, and we'll be
happy to look into it for you.
