Hey guys!

Just booked a Photo Tour to go to China in November. The guide for the tour is the 2007 Travel Photographer of the year and there are a maximum of 8 spots per tour, its for 2 weeks and starts in Beijing and goes through to Shanghai. I know a few people were wanting to plan a trip this year so i thought id post this up...

It'd be great to have some peep's from here go! Here's the link: http://www.grasshopperadventures.com/tour-GHCP07.php

That looks like a very interesting couple of weeks. Might give it some thought (and ask my beloved for permission).

Hey Shoot just had a look at the China itinerary you've got and you are going to some nice places. I was there between Oct/Nov last year and had many happy photo snaps using my digital compact camera of the abundant scenery China has to offer. I notice that Xian is on the list but it doesn't mention a visit to the Big Goose Pagoda. If you are able to visit that place at night there is a big pond that sits infront of the Pagoda. This offers some really nice night time shots but unfortunately for me my camera is limited in what it can do  .

Anyway you'll have a real blast in China

I went through Xian a couple of years ago, the terracotta warriors are the absolute least of the photography opportunities in that town. The Pagoda is awesome - here are a couple of shots I took while I was there -

A ride around the city walls on one of the bone-rattler bikes is also an awesome experience
