Hi All,

How do you display your portfolio images to a new client in person (ie: not a website)?

I am getting a lot of enquiries from the website but then when I meet with the new clients they like to see images in print. I have a sample wedding album and mini brag book (for portraits) but I would like to put together a collection of printed images to let the client flick through (even if they are the same ones that are on the website).

Does anyone know of any really funky photo albums that look great and holds larger prints (maybe say 11x14). I want something that will make the clients go WOW before they open it and see the first image. Also I want to be able to add / change prints to it all the time so I don't just want a printed book.

Otherwise any other suggestions?

I am not the best person to answer while there are many pros in this forum but,



These guys seem quite ok especially for book style albums (Custom made). I got one from them a few years ago (The large wedding style ones and happy with the quality) You can replace photos but cannot change the size as the frame is already cut at the pre determined size..

hi andrew, best is to create actually sample albums or for individual top pics, have them matted and put them in a nice box and show to the client one by one and telling them how you capture it

Yeah this is what I was thinking of. I was not sure to have them like his or in an actual album (but not digitally printed). It is actually quite hard to find some really nice "old fashioned" albums these days

I think the matted or mounted option will be best and then in a display case.

I agree...

I am heading out there tomorrow to have a look at them. Not cheap, but hopefully they are good quality.

They look very similar if not identical to the Sebb albums I pick up here Miniwide, you may want to have a look to compare prices.
