Even after the fire they still have 70-200's and other goodies in stock, unless the page is not up to date.
Cheers,
Gerard

I would doubt that the page isn't up to date yet.

I'd imagine that they have yet to go through their entire inventory.

I wouldn't worry about buying a lottery ticket for the rest of the year, as you have used up all your luck. May I say, you have excellent timing.

fozzie,

My wife buys the lottery tickets so I'm hoping the luck will rub off on her.

I heard about the fire 2hrs after opening the box of my new lens........I could'nt believe it. So I just fitted the lens to the camera and took a few photos (whilst laughing).................what else could I do?

Chris,

Thank you for posting the website. Not pretty pictures. Just think what we could have done with the equipment destroyed, if it was free of course. Seriously though, I feel for those people's orders that have been lost  . I know how I would be feeling  . I have a back order situation with 'RRS' 3 weeks and that is bad enough :( .

ta ta for now,

I'm feeling lucky too. I thought my SB-800 order may have been delayed due to the fire.

When I got home yesterday ... it had arrived! My wife said that she was going to call me to let me know but thought I'd like the surprise instead.

Yay ... new toy to play with.

just wondering , when ordering from adorama or B&H is there any extra fees they hit you with when you come to pick up your goods ? ie import duty etc ??

Striking,

No duty on photographic gear, but GST may be payable (unless you get lucky).

Cheers

Matt
